Worship

Below you will find information regarding opportunities for gathering together both on Sunday and throughout the week

Sunday Worship – 10:30 AM

When a church follows Scripture’s guidance, there will be a natural focus on worshipping together as a church body. We believe that the church gathering together on the Lord’s Day (Sunday) is one of the most important aspects of a Christian’s spiritual walk. As such, we place great emphasis on the opportunity to worship together as a congregation.

Our services follow this order:

  • Welcome and Announcements
  • Prayer
  • Two Hymns
  • Prayer
  • A time for the giving of tithes and offerings
  • Sermon
  • Hymn
  • Benediction to close

On the first Lord’s Day of each month we partake in the Lord’s Supper together immediately following the sermon.

*We have activity bags available for children during the service. Please ask a member if you would like to use one of those bags*

    Fellowship Meals

On the 5th Sunday of the month we have a fellowship meal as a church. This is a wonderful time to gather together to share a meal and remember the good gifts that God has given to us!

    Sunday Schools – 9:30 AM

    First Baptist Church Theology Class

The “First Baptist Church Theology Class” is a Sunday School that gathers to hear teaching about sound theology from a Baptist perspective.

    Children’s Sunday School

We are currently in the process of reworking our Sunday School classes for Children ages K-5th Grade. Until that is finished, you are invited to bring your children to our Theology Sunday School class.

We have a nursery available for Children 0-3 years old during the Sunday School hour. All of our volunteers for nursery are properly vetted and rules are in place for the safety of the children.

Prayer Meeting – Wednesday at 6:30 PM

Prayer is a vital aspect of the Christian life. Paul says to the church, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6). In that spirit, we have a prayer-meeting in which congregants are able to gather together and pray for each other, the church, and the world around us.

Young Men’s Study – Wednesdays at 8:30 PM

Our young men’s study gives young men an opportunity to meet together to study theological truths found in the Scriptures and grow in Christlikeness together.
